This year, we will be using enVisionmath 2.0 for our Math textbooks. This program provides our students with practical math practice and  problem solving skills needed to achieve the high level goals of our school and district. Because of the high level of complex thinking required in the lessons, students may experience some frustration in the beginning of the year. Rest assured, however, that they will be receiving full support in class, and they will gain confidence as the lessons progress.

Starting on the first full day of school, we will revisit some of the skills taught in 3rd grade and quickly begin mastery of 4th Grade Standards as required by the State of Tennessee. We will teach students a variety of learning strategies and procedures that will benefit them throughout the year.

In addition, we will use other skills such as reading,and writing to enhance the student's learning experience. Students will keep a Math Journal that will serve as a portfolio of their work and a valuable study resource.

Most importantly, We are going to have fun doing it!
